Reciprocity relies on four types of networks:

Local expertise: Reciprocity's main strength in terms of networking lies in its ability mobilize teams of local experts from within the BoP, in urban as well as rural settings. This gives us the flexibility to work on a variety of consulting missions in any BoP environment

Academia: We have established partnerships with leading academic institutions including the Graduate School of Business (University of Cape Town), the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS, University of Pretoria) as well as a network of several dozen MBA alumni from leading American and European business schools. In collaboration with the University of Stellenbosch, Reciprocity also runs the Southern African chapter of the worldwide network of BoP Learning Labs, that seek to provide a platform in which corporates, civil society and government can exchange information and ideas about inclusive business models.

Private Sector: Our existing client base includes senior executives that are at the vanguard of their companies’ efforts to design inclusive business models. These individuals play a critical role in driving innovative models and ideas on doing business at the base of the pyramid.

International Organisations / Institutions: Reciprocity has built links with a variety of institutions which are actively engaged in the field of BoP economics: Such bodies include, for instance, the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and PlaNet Finance, one of the world’s main microfinance consultancies.
