Accessing relevant information is the first step towards understanding the BoP.

Questions that corporates typically need to answer include: How big is the market? How do the spending patterns change and how are products and services used at the BoP? Who sells them and through which distribution channels? What innovative business models have already achieved results in the lower income segments, and how have they been implemented?


Reciprocity has, over the past 3 years, compiled a significant body of research with regards to the above questions.

Amongst others, we have written a collection of case studies for UNDP and GIZ, as well as a growing database of fact sheets for the BoP Learning Lab (Southern Africa), for which we run publications and workshops.
